Malta U19 confirm 28-man squad ahead of Belarus double

Malta U19 national team coach Vasco Regini has confirmed a squad of twenty-eight players for the upcoming international friendlies against Belarus.

The Maltese side will play two matches in the space of a few days, with both fixtures scheduled to take place at home.

The first match will be held on Friday 10 October at the Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali, with kick off at 18:00. The second will follow on Monday 13 October at Pitch Number One of the Malta FA Training Grounds, also in Ta’ Qali, and will begin at the same time.

These fixtures come after the team’s matches against Latvia during the previous international window, which marked Coach Regini’s first in charge. Although Malta were beaten in both games, the experience provided an important opportunity for the players to continue their development and strengthen their understanding on the pitch.
