Enrico Pepe is not any more a Birkirkara FC player as Gżira close in with a two year deal offer

Sources close to Birkirkara FC and the Technical staff of the MFA have confirmed that the Italian born player Enrico Pepe is set to become a Gżira Utd player in the next hours.

Pepe who holds a Maltese passport and is a regular inclusion in the Malta National team is to sign a two year contract with the Maroons till May 2026.

Birkirkara FC fans are currently coordinating a series of farewell posts wishing him the best of luck for his new endeavors. Pepe was one of the most favourite players amongst the Birkirkara Ultras.

maltasport.mt can confirm that the player had his medicals done with Gżira Utd FC and has already reported to today’s training session led by coach Andrew Cohen.
