The Maltese national table tennis team will take part in the European youth championships organized by the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) in Malmo.
This morning the squad of nine young players led by coaches Mario Genovese and Edward Baldacchino left for Malmo in Sweden to participate in this tournament that starts next Friday and continues until the 21st of July.
The Maltese are represented by players in the under 15 and under 19 categories, both boys and girls.
Under 15 Boys – Neil Incorvaja, Oliver Farrin-Thorne, Matthew Zammit
Under 19 Men – Luke Bonello, Luke Fenech, Sebastian Farrin-Thorne
Under 19 Women – Anthea Cutajar, Rachel Mifsud, Alice Mariani.
A total of 16 teams will take part where the Maltese will participate in both the singles and the doubles category.
