Brian Said named new Melita FC Head Coach

Melita FC announced that Brian Said has been appointed as First Team Head Coach.

Brian is well known in Maltese football. He was a strong and reliable defender during his playing career, earning 91 caps for the Malta national team and playing for several top local clubs. In recent years, he has moved into coaching. He spent the last two seasons as Assistant Coach at Floriana FC and is now close to finishing his UEFA Pro Licence.

“We’re very proud to have someone like Brian joining Melita FC,” said Club President Matthew Naudi. “We believe his leadership, values, and football ideas are a great match for what Melita FC stands for.”

Melita were relegated from the 360Sports Malta Premier League after losing their relegation play-off match against Naxxar Lions.
