Luis Suarez is leaving Nacional

The celebrated Uruguayan forward, Luis Suarez, will leave his parent club, Uruguayan Nacional, at the end of the season, club president Jose Fuentes confirmed.

After 17 years of playing in Europe, the famous striker of Ajax, Liverpool and Barcelona, returned to his country and put on the jersey of his first club, Nacional from Montevideo.

In the current season, he made 8 appearances and scored 4 goals for the team from Montevideo.

However, after only one season at home, the Uruguayan will leave the team. The season in Uruguay lasts until October and then Luis will become a free agent again.

He wants to be part of the team that will perform at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar and thus helps his national team in Group H where Uruguay will play against Portugal, South Korea and Ghana.
