KEPA UPON ARRIVAL IN REAL: I am ready for new challenges

The new goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Kepa Arrizabalaga, said that he is happy that he will play for the Madrid club next season.

Arrizabalaga is still a Chelsea player, but he will be on loan at Real until the end of the season. In goal, he will replace the injured Tibo Courtois, who will be out of action for at least seven months.

“This is one of the most important days in my career and in my life. I am proud to become a member of Real Madrid and I hope that we will bring more trophies this season,” said Kepa at the presentation.

He will wear jersey number 25 in the “Royal Club“.

“I am ready for new challenges. You can never predict what can happen in football. I am focused and will do my best for this crest. I had offers from other big clubs, but Real’s invitation is not rejected.” Arrizabalaga concluded.
