French national team player N’Golo Kante refused to extend his contract with Chelsea, the British “Atletic” reported.
The leadership of the London club offered the French international a new contract until June 2025 with the possibility of extending the cooperation for another season, but the French refused the offer, British media announced.
The Frenchman reportedly asked Chelsea for a contract until June 2026 with the possibility of an extension until 2027.
Kante arrived at Chelsea in 2016 from Leicester with compensation of 32 million pounds.
He won six trophies with the London club, and for the Blues, he played 262 matches and scored 13 goals.
