Some English media reported last night that Brighton manager Graham Potter accepted Chelsea’s offer to replace Tomas Tuchel.
As stated, all that remains is for the two clubs to agree on compensation.
On Tuesday, the club from London suffered a defeat against Dinamo in Zagreb (0:1) at the start of the new season of the Champions League, which led to the dismissal of Tomas Tuchel from the bench of The Blues.
In the meantime, Potter received the permission of the leader of Brighton to talk to Chelsea.
The former Swedish Swansea manager has guided Brighton to fourth place in the table this season after four wins, one draw and one loss in their first six Premier League games.
Potter is 46 years old and is currently the most promising English coach, who was previously mentioned as a possible new coach of England.
