The World Football Association (FIFA) shortened today the list of candidates for the best football player in the world.
Three footballers are on the list: Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema.
Of course, the main favorite is Messi considering that he led Argentina to the world championship at the end of last year.
The list includes, justifiably, two Frenchmen. However, it seems that the winner is already clear and the flattering recognition will go to the Argentine.
The winner will be announced on February 27 at a ceremony in Paris.
