Edin Dzeko, Inter football player, points out that the feeling is good, but that nothing is over yet.
Inter defeated Milan with the score – 2:0, in the first match of the semi-finals of the Champions League.
“The feeling is very good, especially since this is a derby. On paper, we were guests, this is a great result for us. Sometimes the ball won’t hit the goal, but patience and work pay off. I was calm, I knew the goals would come. This evening proved that,” says Dzeko.
The Milan striker believes that nothing has been resolved yet.
“We will not get carried away, we have an experienced team. We know what we did. We have a great result, but nothing is finished yet. In the Champions League, only big teams make it to the semi-finals, so we have to be as focused as we were today.”
When asked, what will be the approach in the second leg, the experienced striker was clear.
“Let’s not think about this first match. They are only guests on paper, we have to be careful. They are still a good team”, concluded Dzeko.
