Scott Muscat won the sixth qualifying tournament for the Blackball Nations Cup 2024 when he defeated Lydan Debono 10-8 in the final. This was an intensive clash between two great players with Scott Muscat who was trailing against Debono although he kept his concentration in order to turn the score in his favour and emerge victorious. Meanwhile, Deacon Formosa beat Matthias Debono 9-5 in the under-23 category while in the under-18 category, Nordai Desira emerged victorious over Steven Muscat 9-7 . On the other hand, Chris Tabone was better than Kevin Schembri to win 10-8 in the over 40 final while in the over 50 category , Antoine Aquilina was dominant over Dennis Zammit so much that he won 10-4. Meanwhile, the seventh qualifying tournament starts today with the matches that are being played at Juventus Club Vero Amore in Birkirkara and at Anici Club in Qormi.
