San Gwann Nick’s A won the Blackball Challenge League when they beat Qormi Anici A 11-7 in a nail-biting final.
The first part of the game was very balanced with both teams alternating the lead with the score at one time being 5-5.
However San Gwann Nick’s A grew in confidence and after a series of positive frames they opened a 10-7 advantage. Eventually the last frame was decisive for them with their player Clayton Pace who potted the winning ball and gave the victory and the cup to his team.
At the end of the match, he Malta Blackball Federation president Philip Gatt presented the cup to t San Ġwann Nick’s A player Clayton Pace.
