The fourth World Cup qualifying tournament 2024, organized by the Malta Blackball Federation, saw seven players emerge victorious in their respective categories.
Johan Attard’s impressive performance continued as he claimed the men’s title with a close 10-9 win over Troy Zammit. Despite a tight score, Attard’s experience and accuracy gave him an edge over his opponent.

In the under 23 category, Deacon Formosa defeated Neil Caruana 9-3 to claim the title, while Jake Castaldi emerged victorious in the Juniors final with a 9-4 win over Mason Mifsud.
Lorna Micallef stood out in her match against Alexia Cassano, winning 8-5. In the 40+ final, Clint Azzopardi easily defeated Dione Tedesco 10-3, while Jesmond Schembri continued to showcase his consistency with a 9-7 win over Marco Bonello in the 50+ category.
The Grandmasters 60+ final saw Gaetano Camilleri emerge as the winner with an 8-6 victory over Alfred Micallef.
