Ħamrun 147 achieved their third success of the season as they won the Blackball Super Cup. In the final they beat their rivals Cospicua Rangers 14-11. In this way, the Reds added their third cup of the season after they had won the championship and the Christmas Cup.
The Cottonera side built a 4-0 advantage at the beginning of the game but Hamrun 147 stayed focused to turn the score in their favor.
Cospucia Rangers always kept the pace with the opponents and it was only at the end that they gave up after Hamrun won the last two frames.
