Hamrun Bayern A won the direct challenge at the top of the MDA First Division table when they defeated champions Floriana Premier Cars 5-3 as they now share the first place together with the same opponents.
The Bayern side found themselves 1-0 down but managed to turn the score in their favour to take three valuable points.Birżebbuġa Lions are only three points away from the leading duo after a good 7-1 win against Floriana Ajax MCP.Sliema Lounge A and PO’s Bar took a point each after a 4-4 draw.In the second division, the situation stayed the same as the three leading teams continued to win.Leaders Birgu Boċċi Club A easily defeated Zebbuġ Rangers Darts Team 8-0 while Domus Men’s also maintained their consistency while winning 7-1 against Cox Bar.Duke’s Bar and Top Gun Bar were also dominant over Beland Żejtun (8-0) and Leah’s Bar A (7-1) respectively.In the third division, leaders Leah’s Bar B achieved a precious 6-2 victory of against Tal-Balklor with Munchies Bar and Żejtun Laċċi Maypole who also recorded the same score against Sliema Lounge B and Tal-Ġilju Mqabba respectively.Nicolo Isouard got their third win of the season after a score of 5-3 against Domus Ladies.
