Thomas Sammut won the MDA Youth U18 national championship when he got the necessary points in the ten games he played. In fact he achieved 18 points as much as Kyle Satariano but managed to beat the latter 2-0 in the direct confrontation.
Eleven youngsters took part in this tournament at Żejtun Laċċi with the some good level of play . A total of 55 games were played between these players who can be considered as the future of local darts.
