Floriana Ajax Premier Cars and Żejtun Laċċi A shared the spoils in an entertaining 4-4 scoreline in the most awaited encounter of match day 11 of the MDA First Division.
Both teams will be challenging for the league and as expected they were alternating their advantage with the final 4-4 result was a merited one.
Ħamrun Bayern A took advantage of this result as they kept their first place after seeing off Sliema Lounge A 6-2 in a match which they controlled from start to finish.
Birżebbuġa Lions are only three points away from the leaders as they won 6-2 against PO’s Bar with Ħamrun Bayern B earning their second point of the season after a 4-4 draw against Floriana Ajax MCP.
In the second division, Birgu Boċċi Club maintained their good form of late after winning easily against Duke’s 7-1 while Domus Men’s follow with a 6-2 win over Top Gun Marsa.
On the other hand, the matches between Cox Bar and Beland Żejtun and Żebbuġ Rangers FC and Leah’s A were balanced with a final score of 4-4.
In the third division, Leah’s Bar B and Żejtun Laċċi Maypole had positive outings against Nicolo Isouard (7-1) and Domus Ladies (6-2). These results confirmed that they will be the title contenders till the end.
Tal-Ġilju Mqabba obtained a hard-earned 5-3 victory over Birgu Boċċi Club B while Munchies and Tal-Balklor shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw.
