The Maltese pairs Christ Mills and Jesmond Schembri won the World Masters Doubles Final against Englishmen Martin Hazell and Graeme Witton after claiming the final decider frame with a 6-5 final score.
The game was played on Friday evening on table 17 at the same time of the Under 15’s Doubles Finals.
Schembri and Mills also form part of the Malta Masters team and teamed up together as a double’s team for these World Championships.
This is the second gold medal for Malta in these championships after the gold medal of Castaldi and Edwards.
