The Maltese Under 15 duo Jake Castaldi and Dielyn Edwards have won the World Under 15 Doubles Final against Northern Ireland’s Marcel Kusa and Riley Patterson with a score of 6-5.
Infront of a sizeable crowd at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Bugibba on Friday night the young Maltese players managed to finish on the winning side in this nail biting final match.
Castaldi the Young Athlete of the Year of 2023 at the Malta SJA Sportivi Nazzjonali will also be playing for another gold medal in these World Championships as he managed to book his place in the Under Under 15 World Singles Final against either Cohen Bradford or Marcel Kusa. Jake was in stunning form yesterday as he as he defeated Northern Ireland player Jack Hull 6-1 in his semi final.
The final will take place on Sunday at 3pm.
