Five finals from Tour 2 of the Blackball Nations Cup 2025 qualifiers took place on Wednesday.
In a thrilling Men’s final, Clayton Castaldi defeated Leon Azzopardi 10-9. Azzopardi led early on, but Castaldi continually responded, leveling the score each time. In the final moments, it was Castaldi who potted the winning point.
In the Seniors final, Lee Grima beat Duncan Edwards 10-6. Meanwhile, Antoine Aquilina triumphed in the Masters 50+ category with a 9-6 victory over Brian Grech.
In the under-15 final, Jake Castaldi won 9-5 against Denzel Falzon. The under-23 final between Casdy Vella and Matthias Debono will take place next Friday.
