Playmaker Scottie Wilbekin, who plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv, could soon strengthen the ranks of Turkish Fenerbahce.
According to the well-informed Israeli journalist Yaakov Meir, Fenerbahce is ready to pay high compensation just to bring the playmaker into its ranks.
Scottie’s contract with Maccabi is valid for the next season and does not contain an exit clause.
The amount of compensation is currently being speculated, but it is not yet known.
Maccabi has already rejected several offers from other clubs that have shown interest in this basketball player, but the question is how long they will be able to keep him.
Prior to arriving at Maccabi in 2018, Wilbekin wore the Darussafaka jersey.
During the previous season, he averaged 15 points with four assists.
