Canadian playmaker Kevin Pangos is returning to the Euroleague, where he signed a contract with CSKA Moscow until the end of the summer of 2024, the club officially announced.
The news was confirmed this morning. According to European media, the value of the contract is around 6 million dollars.
“I am very glad to have the opportunity to join such a great club as CSKA. I am happy to be able to help this team win titles and ultimately achieve the main goal. I’m looking forward to coming, I want to start playing right away. I can’t wait for my family and me to come to Moscow. ” Said Pangos.
CKSA head coach Dimitrios Itoudis also could not hide his enthusiasm for the arrival of Pangos.
“We all welcome Kevin… He’s here,” Itoudis said. “I say this because he knows we wanted him to move much earlier. But better late than never. Kevin will surely add knowledge and experience to the creativity of our game. He is in good shape. We look forward to helping him adjust. ”
“Teammates and coaches will do their best to get Kevin into our system as soon as possible. Thanks to President Andrey Vatutin and the sponsors for making this transfer possible, ”Itoudis added.
