Bayern Munich coach Pablo Laso spoke after the match against Partizan in the 8th round of the Euroleague.
Pablo Laso tried to get back on the winning track, after two consecutive defeats in the Euroleague, against Red Star Meridianbet and Maccabi from Tel Aviv.
His team managed to outplay Partizan and celebrate with a score of 94:85.
“I congratulate the players, they did a good job. They played with a lot of courage. The first quarter was not good, defensively. Offensively, we were hitting. That’s basketball, you make shots, but you don’t play the way you think you can against a team like this.” Laso began.
“In the second half, we played as needed, much better. Very good defensively, the jumps were good, and we didn’t lose the ball. The last 30 minutes were very good. I’m happy for the necessary victory. Was this a home game? In the end, it is, but I don’t know. This will help us to raise our confidence, despite the fact that we worked a lot to get the victory.” Pablo Laso underlined.
In the next round, Bayern will visit Zalgiris, while Partizan will welcome Alba from Berlin.
