Real Madrid basketball coach Pablo Laso is in stable condition, after he was admitted to the hospital due to a heart attack, the Spanish club announced.
Laso (54) underwent coronary angiography today and will remain under observation in the intensive care unit, it is added in the announcement.
The Spanish coach was admitted to the hospital in Madrid a few hours after his team beat Basconia (83:71) on Saturday night, in the second game of the semifinals of the domestic championship.
With the Madrid team, Laso won the Euroleague titles in 2015 and 2018, and this season he took second place in the final four in Belgrade, after the defeat in the final against Ephesus.
