Brook Lopez returns to the floor: Milwaukee center ready to defend the title

After being absent from the first night of the NBA season, Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez should return to the basketball court, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

After suffering a back injury on the first night of the season against the Brooklyn Nets, Lopez has since missed every game. The center had surgery three months ago and finally, he is ready to contribute to the campaign to defend the Milwaukee title.

According to Sam Quinn of CBS Sports, the Bucks’ defense dropped to 13th place in the league without Brook as the primary racket protector. The Bucks even traded Donte DiVincenzo before the end of the transfer window to strengthen the defense with Serge Ibaka. The Congolese-Spanish center generally did not meet the expectations set by Brook in previous seasons.

Brook had 12.3 points, 5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks last NBA season and was one of the most important players for the title.
