Micic: I'm ready to go to the NBA league

Serbian basketball player Vasilije Micic, who plays as a playmaker, said that he is ready to play in the strongest league in the world.

During the last year, he had the opportunity to try out in the NBA league, but he gave up, and it turned out to be the right move, since he became the champion of the Euroleague for the second time, and was also the most valuable player in the Final Four in Belgrade.

“I can say that this year I am ready to go to the NBA and that it is time. Last year I wasn’t mentally ready, I wanted one more year to play in Europe. I am very happy in Efes and we will see what happens. I’m enjoying this moment,” Micic said.

“Honestly, I don’t think about it that much. I have been playing since I was 16 and I know how to control pressure. There were difficult moments in my career. I didn’t go to Efes as a star, but I helped the team win. I am happy because I won a lot with Efes”, he added.

The rights to Micic in the NBA league are claimed by Oklahoma.

In 2014, he was selected as the 52nd pick in the draft by Philadelphia, who sent him to Oklahoma in 2020.
