Croatian basketball player and former Barcelona player Mario Hezonja will be a new reinforcement for Real Madrid.
Spanish media report that the former UNICS player will return to the Iberian Peninsula, where he defended the colors of Barcelona in the period from 2012 to 2015.
Hezonja received the award for being the most valuable player of the Russian VTB League in the UNICS jersey this season.
The Croatian national team player agreed on everything with the Real Madrid team and the agreement is expected to be made official soon.
The fifth pick of the NBA draft from 2015 went to the NBA after Barcelona, and in the US, he played for the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers.
Upon his return to Europe, he wore the jersey of Panathinaikos and UNICS.
