Josh Hart leaves basketball ECGame 6 with abdominal soreness

Josh Hart exited in the fourth quarter of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference basketball semifinals against the Indiana Pacers on Friday evening, due to what the New York Knicks described as abdominal pain.

Hart was observed clutching his midsection several times throughout the match and eventually requested to be substituted.

Hart participated for only 31 minutes before becoming the latest injury setback for a team already riddled with injuries.

With All-Star Julius Randle, OG Anunoby, Mitchell Robinson, and Bojan Bogdanovic all out of action, Hart has been one of the Knicks’ most reliable players. The forward played the full 48 minutes three times during the postseason and entered the game leading all players in total minutes played, while only trailing MVP Nikola Jokic in total rebounds.
