Unics basketball player John Brown with 66 steals in one season is the new Euroleague record holder in this statistical parameter.
Brown had as many as five stolen balls away to Zalgiris, so he surpassed the previous record-holder, the legendary Argentine Manu Ginobili, who for 21 years held the record with 64 steals in the 2000/2001 season.
The American has a chance to further increase the record by the end of this season.
Unics is in seventh place in the Euroleague with 13 wins and 10 losses and has a good chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
The first next duel of Unics is on February 11 against the Red Star.
