NO RUSSIAN CLUBS THE NEXT SEASON TOO: Glickman does not deviate from the IOC rules

The management of the Euroleague will not take into account the return of Russian clubs to the competition while the war in Ukraine continues, confirmed executive director Marshall Glickman.

This was reported by the TASS news agency by the press service of the Euroleague, which referred to the statement of the executive director of this competition.

“If we are talking about the participation of Russian clubs in the Euroleague, we can refer to the statements of Marshall Glickman, that this will not happen until all military actions are finished. We will follow the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and act in accordance with them”, the announcement states.

This could be good news for representatives from the ABA league, Red Star Meridianbet and Partizan, who could compete together in the best European club basketball competition next season.
