The Los Angeles Lakers tied for the second consecutive victory in the strongest basketball league in the world.
The guests at the Staples Center were the Houston Rockets, and the Lakers recorded a 95:85 victory.
Carmelo Anthony had his mini-show during the second half of the first quarter, and at the start of the second. The veteran scored 14 points in seven minutes on the floor, of which as many as four three-pointers.
Also, Anthony was the most efficient individual in the ranks of the Lakers with 23 points. One of the best scorers of all time, at the beginning of the new NBA season, he justifies that title with fantastic performance.
In addition to Carmelo, Russell Westbrook stood out for the “lakes” with 20 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists, Davis added 13 rebounds in addition to 16 points, and LeBron James scored 15 points with seven rebounds and eight assists.
