Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo has just embarked on a schedule of visits to Clubs in an effort to keep in touch especially with those entitled to vote at the next MFA Presidency election.
Vassallo visited Għaxaq and Birżebbuġa football facilities as part of an ongoing tour to member clubs across the island stated the MFA website.
Both clubs offer high-level training pitches and amenities that serve as a base not only for their football nurseries and their senior teams competing in the National Amateur League, but also host the training sessions of two Premier League clubs daily.
The MFA said that during his visit, President Vassallo spoke about football development, the importance of grassroots within a club’s sporting structure, and the work and contribution at the community level.
