Novak Djokovic couldn’t contain his enthusiasm as he prepares to make his long-awaited comeback at the Indian Wells Masters.
It’s worth noting that the world’s top-ranked tennis player has been absent from this prestigious tournament since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Djokovic’s stance on vaccination prevented him from participating, resulting in a hiatus of over five years from showcasing his talent to the audiences in California.
Taking to social media, Djokovic expressed his joy at returning to the hallowed grounds of Indian Wells.
“The last time I graced this magnificent venue was back in 2019. It feels like just yesterday. It’s truly exhilarating to be back in ‘tennis heaven’ once again. I’m eagerly anticipating the start of the tournament. Let’s do this!” exclaimed Djokovic.
