The Bormla Subbuteo Club secured their third trophy of the season by winning the Spanish Grand Prix.
The team from Bormla won all their matches to advance to the final, where they defeated Spain’s Tiburones 3-0. The Bormla team was composed of Charlie Aquilina, George Ebejer, Jason Pisani, and Belgian player Bessim Golger.
John Zammit also had a positive tournament with ST Stembert, as they secured third place after reaching the semifinals, where they were defeated by Tiburones.
In the individual category, Charlie Aquilina and John Zammit won their groups in the veterans’ competition, but both were eliminated in the last-16 stage. In the Open category, George Ebejer qualified from the group stage but was eliminated in the barrage stage.
