Swieqi Phoenix managed to secure the National Championship title after beating Birkirkara 3-0 in the only volleyball Super League Championship match held at the Cottonera Sports Complex, last weekend. With this result, Swieqi jumped to first place in the table and thus won the Super League Championship for the second consecutive time with thirty points, two points more than Flyers.
At the end of the match, Branko Vlahovic, Vice President of the Maltese Volleyball Association, rewarded the players and coaches of Swieqi Phoenix NIUM.
