On Sunday, Island Car Club organised the 8th and final round of the National Hillclimb Championship at the popular hill at Mtahleb. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, the race had to be called off despite the efforts of the organisers and competitors.
As a result, the final standings, which were announced after the 7th round of the National Hillclimb Championship on 24th November at Bahrija, now stand as the official results of the championship.
Christian Azzopardi won the championship with 45 points, followed by Terence Vella with 40 points and Mark Micallef with 35.
The championship was sponsored by England Insurance, Enemed, Welbee’s Supermarket, The Point, and MeDirect.
