Young Maltese motorcycling talent Travis Borg Stringi has been selected to take part in the Red Bull Rookies Cup Selection Event in Guadix, Spain, this October. The event is scheduled to take place from the 6th to the 9th of October.
Each year, the Red Bull Rookies Cup receives hundreds of applications from aspiring riders across the globe. A select group are invited to attend the Selection Event in Spain, where participants are divided into groups and put through three demanding days of track sessions, testing both skill and endurance. From this highly competitive field, only a small number of riders are usually chosen to join the following year’s Rookies Cup grid.
The Red Bull Rookies Cup is widely regarded as one of the most important stepping stones for young riders aiming to reach the top levels of international motorcycle racing. For Borg Stringi, being selected marks a major milestone in his sporting journey.
