The official results from the 2025 Annual European Aquatics National Team Ranking Report have confirmed Malta’s Men’s Team in 13th place with a total of 10,280 points. This represents Malta’s strongest showing across all categories in this year’s rankings and highlights the team’s growing consistency at international level.
Malta’s Women’s Team also delivered a solid performance, finishing 17th with 5,758 points. Combined, the national total reached 16,038 points, securing Malta an overall ranking of 15th.
The results underline Malta’s continued progress and competitiveness in European aquatics, reflecting the benefits of focused development programmes and increasing investment in athlete performance.
Spain topped the rankings, leading both the men’s and women’s divisions through consistent results across all aquatic disciplines. The report emphasised the strength of national development systems and the long-term commitment required to succeed in elite competition.
