The Aquatic Sports Association (ASA) has officially announced the resignation of its Vice President for Administration, Mr. Randolph Cauchi, following a formal letter of departure submitted earlier this week. The decision was confirmed during an executive meeting held on Friday, 25 July 2025, where the matter was discussed at length.
Mr. Cauchi, who cited personal reasons for his decision to step down, leaves behind a significant legacy of dedication and service. While the ASA expressed regret over his departure, the Executive Committee acknowledged and respected the deeply personal nature of his choice.
In a statement released by the Association, heartfelt appreciation was extended to Mr. Cauchi for his unwavering commitment and the valuable contribution he made throughout his tenure. His meticulous attention to his administrative responsibilities and his positive presence within the organisation were highlighted as having left a lasting impact.
“We are saddened by Randolph’s departure, but we fully understand and support his decision,” the statement read. “His dedication and the energy he brought to every task will be genuinely missed.”
The ASA concluded by offering Mr. Cauchi their warmest wishes as he embarks on the next chapter of his journey, thanking him once more for his service to Maltese aquatic sports.
