Julian Pace Bonello appointed President of ICMG 2030

The Maltese Olympic Committee announced the recent appointment of its President, Julian Pace Bonello as the President of the Coordination Commission Pristina 2030 by the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG).

The Commission is responsible for overseeing and supervising all preparations for the highly anticipated 2030 Mediterranean Games.

This prestigious appointment, unanimously accepted by the ICMG Executive Board, reflects Mr. Pace Bonello’s expertise in the field of sports administration. His role will involve the strategic coordination and meticulous supervision of various aspects of the Games’ preparations to ensure a seamless and successful event.

Expressing gratitude for this honour, Mr Pace Bonello remarked that “I am humbled to be appointed to such an important role and thank the ICMG Executive Committee for entrusting me with this crucial responsibility. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) Executive Board for their unwavering support.”

The 2030 Mediterranean Games, officially known as the XXI Mediterranean Games, and commonly known as Prishtina 2030, is an international multi-sport event that is scheduled to be held from 22 July to 8 August 2030 in Pristina, Kosovo
