Luxol and Swieqi United LEC07 have booked their spots in the Enemed Futsal Premier League final after delivering strong performances in the final four phase.
Luxol confirmed their superiority over the University of Malta, following up their first-leg victory with a 4–2 win in the return fixture. Luiz Henrique led the scoring with a brace, while Maicon da Silva Gaiewski added another, and an own goal by Andre Cachia contributed to Luxol’s total. For the University of Malta, Steven Camilleri scored twice to keep his side in contention.
Referees for the match were Joern Te Kloeze and Ramzi Benali.
In the other semi-final, Swieqi United LEC07 powered past Ta’ Xbiex Futsal with an emphatic 8–2 victory. Swieqi took an early two-goal lead, but Ta’ Xbiex responded before halftime to level the match. However, the second half was all Swieqi, who netted six unanswered goals to seal the win.
Marcelo Alarcon starred with a hat-trick, while Rodrigo Rocha (scoring twice), Guillherme Fonseca, Javier Dominguez, and Luca Felice also found the net. Juan David Bautista Conde and George Frendo scored for Ta’ Xbiex.
The match was officiated by Joern Te Kloeze and Ramzi Benali.
The Enemed Futsal Premier League final between Luxol and Swieqi United LEC07 will be played in a best-of-three format. The first two matches are scheduled for 21 May and 23 May, with a potential decisive third match set for 30 May if both teams win one game apiece.
