Sannat Lions FC and Gharb Rangers FC top the GFA BOV Gozo Football League 2nd Division table after decisive victories at Kercem Stadium.

The GFA BOV Gozo Football League 2nd Division delivered another round of compelling fixtures on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at Kercem Stadium, with Sannat Lions FC and Gharb Rangers FC both emerging victorious to lead the standings after Matchday 2.

In the opening match, Zebbug Rovers FC suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat to Gharb Rangers FC in a tightly contested encounter. Jake Sacco gave Zebbug an early lead in the 1st minute, but Gharb’s Oliver Cremona levelled the score before halftime. Sacco restored Zebbug’s advantage in the 70th minute, only for Luke Sultana to equalise two minutes later. The decisive goal came in the 83rd minute, with Wesley Maeus Leal Barnaske sealing the win for Gharb Rangers. Referee Luca Grech oversaw the action.

The second fixture saw Sannat Lions FC dominate Munxar Falcons FC with a commanding 5-0 victory. Igor Nedeljkovic was the star of the match, netting four goals (2’, 21’, 34’, 57’), while Tristan Grech added a fifth in the 64th minute. Referee Luca Formosa officiated the match, which leaves Sannat Lions at the top of the table
