Nadur Youngsters FC captured the BOV GFA Cup title in style on Sunday, 27th April 2025, with a dominant 3-0 win over Kercem Ajax FC at the Gozo Stadium.
The final started with a bang as Nadur took the lead after just two minutes thanks to a strike from Ian Xuereb. Kercem Ajax had a golden opportunity to level the score just a few minutes later, but Cesar Velez Da Silva saw his penalty saved, a crucial moment that shifted momentum firmly in Nadur’s favor.
The Youngsters doubled their advantage in the 21st minute when Brandon Said found the net, putting Nadur firmly in control before half-time. After the break, Nadur continued to assert their dominance, sealing the victory in the 56th minute through Olimpio Gabriel Fernandes, who capped off a memorable final with a third goal.
The match was officiated by Referee Ezekiel Barbara, who oversaw a competitive but fair contest.
