Luxol St Andrew’s and Ta’ Xbiex continued their winning streaks in the Enemed Futsal League with victories in their respective matches.
Luxol defeated the University of Malta 7-3. The Maltese champions faced a tough challenge, securing the win only in the final minutes. Victor Oliveira Dias was the standout player for Luxol, scoring four goals, while Jefferson Breno netted two, and Emil Raducu added another. For the University of Malta, player-coach Zvezdan Vukovic scored two brilliant goals, and Steven Camilleri kept his team in the game. The referees were Andrea Naudi and Danilo Francalanza.
Ta’ Xbiex Futsal remained consistent, beating GZR Birżebbuġa 8-4. Giancarlo Sammut scored a hat-trick for Ta’ Xbiex, with Christian Wismayer, Juan Poveda, Liam Caruana, and George Frendo also on the scoresheet. For Birżebbuġa, Denim Parnis and Armando Gjepali both scored twice. The referees were Andrea Naudi and Stefania Bonnici.

In a balanced match, Swieqi United Futsal LEC 07 and Marsaskala Futsal Legends finished in a 4-4 draw. Swieqi were always ahead, but Marsaskala fought back to earn a point. Marcelo Alarcon, Rodrigo Rocha, Guillherme Fonseca, and an own goal by Dale Valletta scored for Swieqi, while Marsaskala’s goals came from Jovica Milijic, Owen Duca, Amir Ashtiyani, and Dale Valletta. The referees were Marco La Rosa and Andrea Naudi.
Hamrun SC Futsal NCMB claimed their third consecutive win, defeating the Maltese Under-17 team 6-2. Hamza Harrat scored a hat-trick, while Braham Garcia netted two. Amin Louati also scored for Hamrun. The Under-17 team’s goals came from Daniel Camilleri and an own goal by Sheldon Mercieca. The referees were Clinton Cassar and Sillah Alhasana.
