Charles Leclerc topped the timesheets in the second practice session of the Australian Grand Prix, finishing ahead of McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
The Ferrari driver set the fastest lap of 1:16.439, just 0.124 seconds ahead of Piastri, while Norris followed closely in third place. Yuki Tsunoda briefly held the top spot before settling in fourth, with Lewis Hamilton rounding out the top five.
The session saw some early incidents, including Nico Hülkenberg running through the gravel and Pierre Gasly also going off track. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen lost some track time due to a setup change but returned to finish in seventh place.
Drivers and teams will now analyse their data before returning for the final practice session on Saturday, followed by qualifying later in the day.
