The famous Frenchman Zinedine Zidane believes that the time has not yet come for him to become the coach of the French national football team.
Zidane has been out of work for a long time, and the media associate him with the tricolors. He does not hide that he is interested, but believes that at 50 years old, he still has time.
“I have often said that when you played for France as a footballer and then became a coach, it is logical that you think about leading the national team one day, but now is not the time for that. I believe that everything should go in a certain order,’ said Zidane.
“And as a football player, I thought like that. First I played for Cannes, then for Bordeaux, and then for Juventus and Real Madrid. I always moved from club to club for more experience. It’s a matter of ambition, and I’m like that and I believe in myself.’
Zinedin has been unemployed for two years. He led Real Madrid from 2016 to 2018, and then again from 2019 to 2021. During that time, he won three Champions Leagues in a row (2016, 2017 and 2018).
