Naxxar Lions’ Brazilian striker Vitinho has been named the LifeStar Insurance Most Valuable Player for February.
During an outstanding month, Vitinho played a key role in helping Naxxar Lions transform from a team struggling at the bottom of the table into genuine Top 6 contenders. He earned the MVP award three times in February, including for his performance in the 5-0 win over rivals Mosta. The award was presented by LifeStar Insurance CEO Roberto Apap Bologna.
Vitinho is also the top scorer of the Closing Round, having scored 8 goals, averaging one goal every 93 minutes played. His goals and leadership on the pitch have been crucial to Naxxar Lions’ rise in form and league position.
With his combination of consistency and attacking skill, Vitinho continues to be a standout performer for his team and a player to watch for the rest of the season.
