Valletta FC Head Coach Thane Micallef has been named the VBET Best Coach for September.
In what proved to be a demanding month of fixtures, Coach Micallef guided Valletta to four victories and one draw, with matches coming thick and fast—almost every three days—from mid-September until the end of the month.
As October’s action kicked off, Valletta remained the only unbeaten side in the division under Micallef’s leadership.
Throughout September, Valletta delivered a string of impressive results: a 3-1 win over Marsaxlokk (Match-Week 3), a commanding 2-0 derby victory against Floriana (Match-Week 4), a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Sliema Wanderers (Match-Week 5), and two spirited comeback wins—4-1 against Mosta (Match-Week 6) and 2-1 against Tarxien Rainbows (Match-Week 7).
The VBET September Best Coach trophy was presented to Coach Micallef on Monday by Adam Calleja, Business Development Director for Soft Construct Malta and representative of VBET Malta.
