Tarxien Rainbows have confirmed the signing of Colombian striker Johan Alberto Castaño ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Castaño is a familiar name in Maltese football, having spent the past several years playing for a number of clubs across the islands. His most recent spells include time with Swieqi United, Fgura United, and Xagħra United, where he made a strong impact last season by scoring 12 goals in 17 matches.

The 28-year-old began his career in Colombia with Once Caldas U20 before moving to Portugal, where he featured for Farense, Coruchense, and Sernache. He made his move to Maltese football in 2018, signing first for Żejtun Corinthians.
