Tarxien Rainbows have confirmed the signing of 28-year-old Scottish forward Jai Quitongo, marking his return to Maltese football.
Quitongo is no stranger to the Maltese Premier League, having featured last season with Marsaxlokk, where he made 15 appearances and scored 4 goals.
Aside from his previous stint in Malta, Quitongo has enjoyed a career across several clubs, primarily in Scotland.
He has represented teams such as Morton, Queen’s Park, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, and Machine Sazi in Iran.
Known for his pace and physicality, Quitongo brings experience and attacking depth to the Tarxien side as they continue to build for the rest of the season.
Quitongo will be available for selection from Sunday’s game against Kerċem Ajax from the Jubilee Cup.
